Nayvo — Terms of Use

By using Nayvo, you agree to these terms. They are intentionally short.

The service

Nayvo is a free daily opinion app: one yes/no question a day, answered blind, followed by the live split of how everyone answered. It requires no account. Optional features — circles you join by code, a display name you choose for your circle, and the launch-notification email list — are described in the Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

Use Nayvo for its intended purpose. Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious ends, overload, or abuse the service or other users, and don't use it in violation of applicable law. Circle codes are shared keys: only invite people you actually want in your circle, and don't join circles you weren't invited to.

User-submitted content

The display name you choose for a circle is content you submit: it is shown to everyone holding that circle's code, and you are responsible for it — don't use a name that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, impersonating, or infringing. The same applies to anything a future version lets you submit (questions, comments). We may remove content and may decline to publish submissions.

No warranty

Nayvo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Daily questions and split percentages are for entertainment only and are not statements of fact, advice, or a scientific poll.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nayvo and its makers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Because the app is free, your sole remedy for any dissatisfaction is to stop using it (and, if you wish, leave your circles and clear your data — the Privacy Policy explains how).

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept it. The effective date above reflects the current version.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
